did you mean plural definite article?

  3. BadStella100 on January 28, 2012 at 9:00 am

    @ Urbanmotifs

In Germany we leave out the “indefinite plural articel”, there is no one.
So, for example, it’s “ein auto” (a car) in plural it’s just “autos” ;)

Hello, I’m studing german on my own .I’m a little confusted. In your video you said the Plural indefinite article is “die”.
In my book it does not list ” die” as a articles indefinite just ein… So my question the plueral ” die ” is for both definite and indéfinis ?

If I may learn you some English back, “seasons” at 2:08 is pronounced like “see – son” ^^ Or as in sea (ocean).

Great video though I’m definitely going through them all, that is for sure :D

German grammar has no rules – only examinations.

@luzon83 Thank you very much. i guess I’ll just have to learn it as it is.

@sophia0466 No, an angle is not a unit, it’s a measure. The unit of a “Winkel” is “Grad” (degree): das Grad (neuter)

  16. sophia0466 on January 28, 2012 at 2:34 pm

i have a question that about “der Winkel”. Is “Winkel” not a unit?

  17. prashSuvarna on January 28, 2012 at 2:38 pm

    good one …

  18. andalora91 on January 28, 2012 at 3:33 pm

@girl4teaching That makes sense – in English we don’t have articles for the alphabet so I think that is why I didn’t understand. Thank you!

  19. girl4teaching on January 28, 2012 at 3:38 pm

    @andalora91

hi by letters i mean A,b,c (das a, das b, das c) and by notes i mean the musical ones (das C, das D…)
    sorry if wasnt clear!

  20. andalora91 on January 28, 2012 at 3:43 pm

My question is, you said all “letters, notes and units are neutral”. What do you mean by letters and notes? I assume you meant measurements like units. Thank you!

  22. girl4teaching on January 28, 2012 at 4:21 pm

@ddfm02 thank you! yes, the genders are masculine, feminine or neuter

  23. ddfm02 on January 28, 2012 at 4:43 pm

I think that this is very good. But are the genders not masculine, feminine and neuter? I look forward to the next video.

    Tschüs.
